About the Role Whi Oranga is a large unit that provides intensive acute and rehabilitative cares for people admitted to the unit.
We are recruiting for a permanent 0.75 FTE Mental Health Assistant (MHA) position. Shifts will be rostered and rotating AM, PM and Nights across 7 days.
About the Team/Service/ Location Our team is passionate about mental health and the recovery process, delivering a high standard of care and having a real impact on the lives of some of our most vulnerable people. As a Mental Health Assistant your role is to work with the team to provide basic nursing care under the supervision and direction of Registered Nurses. This will include working with challenging behaviours.
